The Opportunity

As a people person, you enjoy being client centric, helping your team members by providing support and solutions. You will play a key role as the first point of contact to any team members’ needs related to our people processes and programs. You are empowered to set up, keep track of- and proactively provide recommendations on all of our people related processes and programs. You have a curious and resourceful mindset, and enjoy taking on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all steps in our On-boarding process are facilitated and managed
  • Being the internal Point of Contact for our team members to answer any payroll and benefits related questions and/or to seek the answers from our outsourced vendor(s)
  • Managing our HR system for all Team related changes 
  • Coordinating payroll related information for our Outsourced payroll and benefits vendor(s)
  • Attending various administrative meetings as required
  • Preparing regular required reports, and special reports as needed
  • Data entry and data management within various internal systems
  • Making updates to our Employee Handbook and ensuring we have the most up to date H&S info available to our team members
  • Coordinating Social Events & Other Support
  • Collecting and depositing cheques/Post office when required

What you’ll bring:

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Experience in a similar role 
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Attention to detail and ability to coordinate various efforts with multiple parties
  • Effective project management skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Proficient in learning new technologies and internal systems
