The Opportunity

Lane Four is looking for highly motivated Marketing Specialist to join our growing Toronto–based team of heroes.


  • Lead and execute on the SEM strategy to drive conversions for new customer acquisition, working in collaboration with the Growth Marketing Manager
  • Track, report on and analyze success metrics and KPIs for ad platforms, such as clicks, impressions, CTR, conversion rates, conversions, quality score
  • Track, report on and analyze success metrics and KPIs for the company, such as leads, opportunities, customers, revenue and ROI
  • Manage and forecast campaign budgets and expenses
  • Continuously provide opportunities for growth in paid search, whether that be through Search, Display or YouTube advertising and provide associated forecast metrics
  • Optimize ad text and landing pages for improved conversion rates for Search strategies
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Continuously research competitor strategies 
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends related to SEM

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years paid search marketing experience; B2B SaaS startup experience preferred
  • Well-versed in understanding the full scope of search marketing and where it fits in the customer life cycle
  • Proven success managing PPC campaigns. Success KPIs include leads, CTR, conversion rates, revenue, customers and ROI
  • Strong analytical skillscomes to the table with suggestions to optimize, grow and test
  • Experience generating stellar SEM reports for performance and tracking
  • Highly collaborative, flexible, and able to juggle priorities and switch gears quickly
  • Proficient in the following areas:
    • Google Ads (Search, Display, and YouTube)
    • Bing
    • Familiarity with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, multivariate testing
    • Tools: Google Analytics, Keyword Research Tools such as SEMRush, or SpyFu, Google Trends, 
  • Experience with the following considered an asset:
    • LinkedIn Advertising
    • Facebook/Instagram Advertising 
    • Landing page optimization tools, such as Unbounce
