The Opportunity

Lane Four is looking for highly motivated Demand Generation Specialist to join our growing Toronto–based team of heroes. If you have experience in Google Ads, and are looking to expand your expertise to more marketing channels, this role is built for you! The ideal candidate will be working alongside our Growth Marketing manager and will own the execution and strategy behind our Paid Media campaigns, designed to generate leads for Lane Four Highroad. In addition, the demand generation specialist will also assist the Growth Marketing Manager in launching new channels and programs such as SEO and Email Marketing as well as maintenance of current programs (organic social, affiliates etc). Never alone, you will be supported by and work closely with the Growth Marketing Manager, Sales Teams, Customer Success, and Founders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute on the SEM strategy to drive conversions for new customer acquisition, working in collaboration with the Growth Marketing Manager
  • Track, report on and analyze success metrics and KPIs for ad platforms, such as clicks, impressions, CTR, conversion rates, conversions, quality score
  • Track, report on and analyze success metrics and KPIs for the company, such as leads, opportunities, customers, revenue and ROI
  • Manage and forecast campaign budgets and expenses
  • Continuously provide opportunities for growth in paid search, whether that be through Search, Display or YouTube advertising and provide associated forecast metrics
  • Optimize ad text and landing pages for improved conversion rates for Search strategies
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Continuously research competitor strategies 
  • Assist growth marketing manager in leading new channel launches and ongoing maintenance of projects and campaigns.

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years paid search marketing experience; B2B SaaS startup experience preferred
  • An eagerness to learn new channels and enthusiasm for new projects. We are a small, collaborative and mighty team and as a result, the opportunities at hand to learn new platforms, take on new projects, engage in cross-functional communications and grow your expertise are endless. 
  • Proven success managing PPC campaigns. Success KPIs include leads, CTR, conversion rates, revenue, customers and ROI
  • Strong analytical skills—comes to the table with suggestions to optimize, grow and test
  • Experience generating stellar SEM reports for performance and tracking
  • Highly collaborative, flexible, and able to juggle priorities and switch gears quickly
  • Proficient in the following areas:
    • Google Ads (Search, Display, and YouTube)
    • Bing
    • Familiarity with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, multivariate testing
    • Tools: Google Analytics, Keyword Research Tools such as SEMRush, or SpyFu, Google Trends, 
  • Experience with the following considered a significant asset:
    • LinkedIn Advertising
    • Facebook/Instagram Advertising 
    • Landing page optimization tools, such as Unbounce
