Lane Four, one of the 2024 list of Best Workplaces™ in Canada!

Lane Four is recognized as number 33 on this year’s Best Workplaces™ in Canada List. This list, and related stories, will appear in a Special National Report on April 26, 2024, in The Globe and Mail.

Building strong connections and camaraderie is essential to our Lane Four culture. We believe that when everyone’s voice is heard and valued, amazing things can happen. This approach continues to empower our people to keep doing good work and delivering top-notch solutions for our clients.

Our company is built on a foundation of core values and guiding principles that we hold dear. These values—Be Real, Be Human, Be Curious, and Do Good Work—guide our every move. They’re not just words on a page; they’re the essence of who we are. And our guiding principles—Empowerment, Mentorship, Accountability, and Authenticity—ensure that we stay true to our values in every aspect of our organization. From our internal culture to how we interact with clients and partners, these principles are at the heart of everything we do.

"We actively strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and empowered to share their lived experiences and contribute their unique skills and perspectives."

The 2024 Best Workplaces™ in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The competition process to be ranked on this list is employee driven and represents multiple industries and sizes of organizations. List rankings are based on employee feedback, which we analyze to determine the extent to which this experience is shared by the full workforce. Great Place To Work measures the differences in survey responses across demographic groups and roles within each organization to assess both the quality and consistency of the employee experience.

Using the Trust Index™ employee survey, we measure the core of what creates great workplaces—key behaviours that drive trust in management, connection with colleagues, and loyalty to the company. Statements are weighted according to their relevance in describing the most important aspects of an equitable workplace.

This study offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective and an overall portrait of the workplace culture.

This year’s list captures the experience and sentiment of 330,000 employees, rolling out to impact over 600,000 Canadian employees.
