User Management

From the User Management tab you can:

  • See user records
  • Manage user leaves
  • Manage user assignments

Four types of records are displayed for every user: Leads, Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities. You can expand record details and make changes by selecting the number under the record type. You can also manage user leaves under this tab. 

Filtering Users

Users can be filtered by different criteria.

  • To filter users based on Active/Inactive Status, use Check Online/Offline users
  • To filter users based on when they were created, use Advanced Filter
  • To filter users based on name, profile, or role, use Select User

User Leaves

Lane Four allows you to input user leaves when a user is on vacation or is taking time off. When someone is on leave, they will not receive any new assignments. Depending on the length of the leave, you may want to reassign any leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities the user is currently working on. 

How do I add a User Leave?

  1. Select the user that will be going on Leave from the active users list and select Add Leave
  2. Input the start date and end date for the leave, if you want to specify the times that the user will be on leave, select Add Time and input the times as well. Press Add to save 

Reassignments 

 You may want to reassign leads, accounts, contacts, or opportunities for a number of reasons. For instance, if a user is on an extended leave and will not be able to tend to their assignments.

How do I reassign a lead?

  1. Select the number under Leads Owned for the user whose lead(s) you wish to reassign
  2. Select the lead(s) to be reassigned under Lead Name(s)
  3. You can reassign the leads to a user or a Round Robin, use the search bar to find the new assignee and Save

How do I reassign a contact 

  1. Select the number under Contacts Owned for the user whose lead(s) you wish to reassign
  2. Select the contact(s) to be reassigned under Contact Name(s)
  3. You can reassign the contacts to a user or a Round Robin, use the search bar to find the new assignee and Save

How do I reassign an Account?

  1. Select the number under Accounts Owned for the user whose lead(s) you wish to reassign
  2. Select the account(s) to be reassigned under Account Name(s)
  3. You can reassign the contacts to a user or a Round Robin, use the search bar to find the new assignee and Save

How do I reassign an Opportunity

  1. Select the number under Opportunities Owned for the user whose lead(s) you wish to reassign
  2. Select the opportunity(ies) to be reassigned under Opportunity Name(s)
  3. You can reassign the contacts to a user or a Round Robin, use the search bar to find the new assignee and Save
