Most marketing automation tools require a non-formula field to be populated on the lead for continual syncing, this includes fields like lead status, owner, etc. These fields can be kept in sync with Matched account field updates.
- To control lead fields from the account go to the Matched Account Field Update section.
- Create a new setting via the Create New button.
- Enter the field mapping values. For example map Account Owner ID to Lead Owner ID to ensure the lead owner is maintained by the related account owner
You can chose to update a lead field when it’s first matched to an account AND / OR when the account field is changed. For example, you can assign a lead, but when the related account owner is changed, this will update all related lead owners.
