Match View

The Lane Four match view shows the following:

  1. Related Accounts: These are accounts which the lead is possibly related to via match rules like domain, fuzzy company name, etc.
  2. Duplicate Contacts: These are contacts that exactly match the lead via attributes like email, name, company, etc.
    • A one-time update will be needed to populate this section for the first time.
    • You must also have a configured duplicate rule for leads to contacts, for more information see setting up duplicate rules here
  3. Related Leads: These are leads which have a relationship with each other, this can be via the matched account, or common domains
  4. Duplicate Leads: These are leads that exactly match the lead via attributes like email, name, company, etc.
    • A one-time update will be needed to populate this section for the first time.
    • You must also have a configured duplicate rule for leads, for more information see setting up duplicate rules here

Match view groupings:

  • It’s important to setup the above match view groupings, this would have been done during the onboarding process, and the groupings can be viewed on the Match Record View section.

Match View

The match view buttons are all configurable via the match view setup:

From the Matched Record View button, navigate to the tab called duplicate record buttons

Each match view section and each button can be configured at the organizational, profile or user level.

Additional User Permissions

In addition to the match view button permissions, you can add additional user rights. These include:

  1. Override Standard Permissions: This option will allow a user with access to the match view to merge records with their standard user permissions prevent deletion.
  2. Override Permissions for Lead Convert: This option allows a user to trigger an auto convert action with this user would not normally be allowed to edit the related account, which would normally prevent the auto conversion
  3. Read-only admin view: allows you to provide access to the lane four tab in a read-only state, allowing a user to view round robin members

Lead Conversion

The Match View Interface shows the accounts you can convert into. Users with the permission to convert leads will see the Convert Lead button beside matched accounts.

Users with the permission to merge into contacts will be able to see the Merge Into Contact button in the duplicate contacts section.

When converting you will be brought to this page to edit lead and account information and create tasks or opportunities.

The fields on this interface are controlled by field sets:

ConvertLeadDetails → Allows you to ensure users enter more lead information on conversion. 

ConvertLeadDetailsView → Shows fields of information for related leads. 

Account fields are controlled by the field set: ConvertLeadDetails → Allows you to ensure the user enters more information when converting

Opportunity Fields on the conversion interface are controlled by the field set OpportunityFieldsForConvertLead
